Meet Lexi

Lexi Garland

BPthy. Hons 1st Class / Rehab Pilates (Dip.)

With over 15 years of experience as a Physiotherapist working in private musculoskeletal practice, Lexi has developed a broad and comprehensive skill set across musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain management, orthopaedics, neurological conditions, women’s health, pre and postnatal care, ageing and falls prevention, and NDIS rehabilitation.

Throughout her career, she became increasingly passionate about movement-based rehabilitation after witnessing the life-changing impact it had on people’s pain, function, confidence, and overall wellbeing. She saw first hand how empowering people with the right movement strategies could help them take an active role in improving their own health — not just seeking temporary pain relief, but creating lasting change.

This passion led Lexi to further studies in the Pilates Method, completing numerous courses before undertaking a Diploma of Rehabilitation Pilates through Polestar Pilates in 2018. In recent years, she had the privilege of delivering Pilates teacher training for PAA-recognised certifications, mentoring both Pilates instructors and allied health professionals.

Today, Lexi loves combining hands-on Physiotherapy with evidence-based exercise rehabilitation and Pilates principles to support people through recovery, improve movement quality, and help them feel stronger and more confident in their bodies.

At the core of her approach is a simple belief: movement is key to wellness. When we continue to build strength, function, and movement capacity, we create the foundation for long-term health — not just short-term symptom relief.
